Professor Stefanie Duchac is a leading speech and language therapy specialist and professor at SRH University in Germany, with extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating dysphagia following stroke and traumatic brain injury. She serves as head of the ESSD Academy and is an active advocate for interprofessional dysphagia care. Professor Duchac participated as a speaker at the 22nd AMN Congress and as faculty at the NTSC Extended AMN Intensives Thailand Edition.

The 22nd AMN Congress, which took place July 4-5 in Bangkok, Thailand, brought together world-experts from the complex domain of neurotraumatology to address developments in neurotrauma research, clinical management, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation strategies. The scientific program encompassed pre-hospital care, neurosurgical interventions, intensive care protocols, and long-term neurorehabilitation, including dedicated sessions on nursing cross-training and the latest advancements in neurotrauma biomarkers and data registries.
NTSC Extended AMN Intensives hosted its first edition this year in Thailand, following the legacy of NTSC Vienna. On July 3rd, the Phramongkutklao Hospital hosted almost 40 international participants, who participated in interactive workshops and simulation scenarios of neurotrauma cases.
