Professor Dorel Săndesc is a distinguished anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist who serves as General Manager of the University County Emergency Hospital Timisoara, Vice-Rector of Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and President of the Expert Commission of Anesthesia & Intensive Care at the Romanian Ministry of Health. A former Secretary of State for Health and recipient of Romania’s National Order “For Merit,” Professor Săndesc has led numerous healthcare modernization projects and was recognized as “Highlight of the Congress” for his contributions to the 22nd AMN Congress.

The scientific program encompassed pre-hospital care, neurosurgical interventions, intensive care protocols, and long-term neurorehabilitation, including dedicated sessions on nursing cross-training and the latest advancements in neurotrauma biomarkers and data registries.
